Qigong master Zou Ping from the Hexianju QiGong Centre in China, a medicine-less hospital, will be offering a free talk and healing circle from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at the Komohana Research Center.
The talk will be in Room A204 of the center, which is handicap accessible, at 875 Komohana St. in Hilo.
Ping also is offering a weekend workshop May 1-3 at the Komohana Center. It runs from 6:30-9 p.m. May 1, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 2-3 (lunch on your own). The fee is $275. To register online visit www.kokolulu.org or call 889-9893.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention.
Ping is on the staff of Kokolulu Farm and Retreats in Hawi until the middle of July.
Previously Ping was a healer/teacher under Dr. Pang Ming at the Hexianju QiGong Centre.
